DODA, APRIL 21: District Magistrate, Dr Sagar D Doifode today urged the people of the district to download “Aarogya Setu” mobile application in their mobile phones for important information to keep themselves safe from coronavirus infection.
DM informed that Aarogya setu application is an important step to fight against COVID-19 and it provide important information regarding coronavirus. After downloading the COVID-19 tracking app it will let users know about the zone they are in and will guide accordingly.
He said that whenever a person come in contact or even in surrounding of any COVID-19 positive person, this app will notify or alert him/her.
Moreover, it is a tool for self testing through questionnaire and in case someone's answer suggest COVID-19 symptoms, the information will be sent to the government through Artificial Intelligence and the data will then help the government to take timely steps and initiate the isolation procedure, if necessary besides the users will be alerted about it.
DM Informed that District Administration has also issued a circular in this regard, which reads that "All Tehsildars are directed to outreach the public in their respective jurisdictions through the Patwari Halqas for awareness/promoting the installation of the Aarogya Setu App on priority basis".
Besides the DM has directed all the patwaris to visit door to door in their respective jurisdictions/halqas and help people to install Aarogya Setu App on their smart phones. |
