Jammu Club donates Rs 10 lakh to PM Cares Fund

Jammu, Apr 21; Members of Jammu Club donated Rs 10 Lakhs to the PM CARES Fund to fight the Covid-19 crisis.
The Hony. Secretary Rattandeep Singh Anand, who along with the esteemed members of the Managing Committee of Jammu Club, Jammu presented this Cheque in favour of “Prime Minister’s Cares Fund”, to Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu on behalf of the Prime Minister.
"Our contribution to the PM CARES Fund stands testament to solidarity we hold with the people of India, amidst this crisis said the Hony. Secretary, JCJ.
Divisional Commissioner who is also the Vice President of the Club Jammu on receiving the Cheque said that these contributions will help to further several immediate and long-term relief efforts that the country needs to combat the size and scale of the crisis.
He further added that Over the past month India has stood united in this decision to stay home and stay safe until we overcome this pandemic. But there is so much more to do in order to win the fight against this dreaded disease," In addition, to this the Management Committee of the Jammu Club, Jammu also donated of Rs 2 Lac to the Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu.
The said amount was donated by the worthy members of this Prestigious Club of Jammu.
