Early Times Report
jammu, Apr 21: While as all political parties have been demanding that people of Kashmir standard outside J&K should be brought back before Ramzan but no one is speaking about thousands of students and labourers from Jammu who have been facing hardship in different parts of the country.
Large number of Kathua residents, who worked in Mumbai and other areas of Maharashtra, are facing hardship but no politician is speaking about those helpless people. Similarly some patients from Jammu, who had for treatment in different parts of the country, have been stranded at their respectable places but authorities appeared to the non-serious about these helpless people.
In Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra, large number of people from Kathua and Samba districts, have been working as labourers, called as Pallaydar, but no political party is speaking about these poor people. The Jammu based political parties, especially BJP and Congress, have maintained a criminal silence of plight of Jammu based stranded people.
Sources said a Mumbai based social organization has approached the government to help residents of Jammu stranded at Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra but leaders of Jammu have no time for their own people.
Credible sources said that some residents have brought this matter to the notice of BJP leaders but they, unlike their counterparts from Kashmir, failed to take up the issue with administration.
