CLUJ organizes webinar on coaching for resilience

Jammu, April 28: A Webinar on Coaching for Resilience:Balance, Change and Conflict was organised by the office of Dean Students Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu for the students and faculty of PGI Schools of the University.The webinar was divided into two sessions, forenoon and afternoon with an active and vibrant participation of 200 students from the Schools of Liberal Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Teacher Education, Sciences and Engineering and Computer Technology.
Ms. Sunaina Tickoo ,Founder &CEO Brainpreneurs- a certified NeuroLeadership Institute and a leading Enterpreneur and Neuro leadership practitioner was the Resource Person from Bangalore.Prof. Anju Bhasin , Vice Chancellor, CLUJ who also chaired the forenoon discourse welcomed the faculty and participants to the webinar in both the sessions.
Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar Cluster University of Jammu chaired the afternoon session and talked about the need for a coherent response from all the stakeholders during these trying circumstances.
Sunaina Tickoo in her two sessions deliberated at length and explained the true meaning of Resilience and the neuroscience of mastering life’s greatest challenges. She dwelt on how different people are trying to adapt to the pandemic situation and figuring out ways to cope with it. She focussed on specific resilience factors such as facing fear, balancing act, optimism and social support. Each factor was explained in detail through personal experiences and reflections of highly resilient survivors.
Dr. Twinkle Suri ,Dean Students Welfare formally thanked the onboard members for participating in a much innovative, interesting and informative session.She opined that the webinar and activities of the kind are an effort to connect, uplift and rekindle the spirit and mood of the young learners in this lockdown period and prayed for covid free bright days to resume soon.
