JAMMU, Apr 29: In view of the current situation in the wake of Covid-19, the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) is taking measures to stop the spreading of corona virus by giving special focus on sanitation of the entire city and intensive thermal fogging and spraying has been conducted to sanitize the atmosphere so that the chances of virus transmission to others can be minimized to the extent possible. JMC’s Safaikaramcharis are at the forefront of this effort.
In view of this, many organizations are extending their helping hand to Jammu Municipal Corporation by donating soaps, hand sanitizers and masks etc. In this series, 4000 hand Sanitizers bottles were donated today to Jammu Municipal Corporation through Managing Director, SIDCO, Ravindra Kumar. The sanitizers were donated under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from Sanjay Mehra, Managing Director Naturis Cosmetics Pvt Limited and Ramnish Sinah, General Manager, Coromandel International Limited.
On the initiative of MD SIDCO, the said companies came forward to extend their gratitude and support to the Municipal warriors fighting COVID-19 in Jammu.
