No positive case from Bandipora-Kupwara, one reported from Baramulla

BARAMULLA, Apr 29: The general people will heave a sigh of relief as no positive case has been reported from the twin districts of north Kashmir viz a viz, Bandipora and Kupwara, while as only one case has been reported from Baramulla district today.
According to the details available, no positive case has been reported today from the twin district of north Kashmir including Bandipora and number of cumulative till date are 127, and active positive case are 102, and recovered are 24, while as one death has occurred in Bandipora.
There is no positive case from Kupwara today, while cumulative till date are 49, and active positive cases are 30, and 10 recovered today, recovered till date are 19, and fortunately no death has occurred so for in this border district.
One positive case has been reported today in Baramulla district, cumulative up to are 73, active positive are 49, recovered are 21 and 3 deaths were reported so for.
However, sources said that, all fifty samples that were taken from Sub District Hospital Uri came negative, earlier they were sent to Srinagar Hospital for testing.
Out of fifty negative samples, many were from Amlok Colony Uri, and they were sent to home quarantine, but thankfully all have recovered and their tests have also come negative, said sources.
Sources further said that two drivers have been sent to quarantine center at Salamabad Uri today, after they arrived from Delhi, and within a day or two, their tests will be carried out.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla today conducted an extensive tour of the district where he inspected several locations including Sangrama, Pattan, Choora, and review of the implementation of lockdown and other related health advisories issued for containing Covid-19 pandemic.
