J&K admin ask stranded people to don’t move without consent, assures SOPs

Jammu: Asking stranded people to don’t move without the prior consent, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has issued an advisory instructing that detailed SoPs will be issued to facilitate and organise the movement in compliance with the MHA order.



The administration has clearly stated that no movement will be allowed without the prior consent of the Jammu Kashmir Administration.Defaulters including unregulated arrivals will be sent to quarantine for 21 days in Lakhanpur.

Rohit Kansal, Pr Secy Planning and Information, J&K through his twitter handle tweeted the above information keeping in view the ruckus it could cause.
The tweet read : Important Advisory: UT of J&K shortly issuing issuing detailed SoP to facilitate organised movement of labour, students. APPEAL : Please do not move without prior consent of UTJK administration. ALL Unregulated arrivals to be quarantined for 21 days at Lakhanpur

Commissioner Secretary, Jal Shakti Department and overall in charge to oversee the arrangements for the entry and exit of vehicles at Lakhanpur, Ajeet Sahu ask people to wait for the advisory. The lockdown has left a huge number of students and migrant labourers stranded in various parts of the country. Over the past few days, there have been individual efforts by some states to bring stranded residents home.

According to reports, the Jammu & Kashmir administration in the past few days brought back over 6,000 labourers and students of the Union Territory, who were stranded in various parts of the country. With this, the total count of those brought back to the UT reached to over 17,700 people, it is said.
