| TWS distributes ration among needy people | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 18: Tawi Welfare Society (Regd.)Jammu organised ration Distributed function at Apnavan Sure Chak today in which 70 ration kits comprising of rice, flour, a pair of chappals and salt packet were distributed among the needy people of about 26 villages. Dalip Gupta a Social Activist and former Sr. Manager J&K Grameen Bank was the Chief Guest and another Social Activist Chaudhary Tarsem Lal was the guest of honour at this occasion who distributed ration to the people observing all precautions required including social distancing. Nand Kishor a senior member of Society welcomed the Guests. He gave a brief detail of activities undertaken by the Society. Bouquets were presented to the Guests at this occasion. Audience was also educated in detailed by Yash Paul General Secretary of the Society about all precautions and necessary steps to be taken to protect ourselves from the deadly coronavirus The Chief Guest in his address appreciated the activities undertaken by the Society and assured his full support in the activities to be taken by the Society in future. |
