| 9 months on, Naib Tehsildar post lying vacant in Budhal | | | M S NAZKI

RAJOURI, July 17: The post of Naib Tehsildar (NT) of Budhal in Rajouri district has been lying vacant for the last almost nine months after the incumbent got superannuated, but a replacement is yet to be made due to which the people of as many as 11 panchayats are facing lot of difficulties in getting their works done.
With no Naib Tehsildar at the helm of affairs, the working of this tehsil has been adversely affected. Locals said that the Naib Tehsildar had retired in October last, after which no new officer was posted as a replacement.
They said that due to the absence of Naib Tehsildar, the people of 11 panchayats are facing lot of problems thanks largely to the incompetence of the administration which has failed to post an officer.
Social worker Bashrat Rather appealed to the government to post a Naib Tehsildar in Budhal as soon as possible so that the problems of the people can be minimized and they could heave a sigh of relief.
