BARAMULLA, July 21: Out of 608 fresh positive cases, Eighty Nine positive cases were reported today, there are 1157 active positive cases, cumulative cases crossed over 3094, whereas 61 have recovered and 75 deaths have occurred so far in north Kashmir as on date.
According to the district wise positive cases that are available as on July 21, 2020 (Tuesday), In Baramulla district, 28 fresh positive cases that were reported today, there has been an increase in the cumulative cases that have gone up to 1651, and active positive cases that stands at 674, and cumulative recovered cases are 922 including 16 as on date, while as 55 deaths, next highest after Srinagar that have occurred so far in this district.
In Kupwara district, 47 fresh positive cases were reported today, while there is an increase in cumulative cases that have gone up to 965 cases, active positive cases that stands at 362, cumulative recovered are 588 including 44 of today and 15 deaths have occurred so far.
In Bandipora district, 14 fresh positive cases reported today, whereas 478 are cumulative cases, 121 are active positive, 352 are cumulative recovered and 05 deaths have occurred so

Meanwhile, according to Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo, all shops and other business establishments shall remain open from tomorrow in the district strictly as per the formulated odd-even system.
The order has been issued as part of relaxation in COVID-19 restrictions that were imposed to contain the spread of infection.
According to DC, all shops/establishments having odd serial numbers, shall remain open tomorrow on 22nd July, 2020 and the rule shall apply accordingly.
However, following all related SOPs and guidelines especially using face masks and maintaining social distance shall be mandatory and any violation shall be dealt with strict action.
It is also learnt from sources that as per order by SDM Uri Reyaz Malik, markets remain closed in red zones of Sub Division Uri. He however said that the rest of the markets shall remain open on an odd even basis with strict adherence to SOPs issued by the government from time to time. Banks shall also remain open for public up to 1:00 pm except for those located in red zones.
Shops having odd serial numbers shall remain open tomorrow on 22 July, 2020. Duty Magistrates shall strictly enforce the implementation of SOPs.
