YCET organizes 2nd International Conference RISET-20 on Industry 4.0 G

JAMMU, Sept 18: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) in collaboration with IIT Bombay (Spoken Tutorial), Department of Electronics, University of Jammu and Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Jammu Centre organizes online 2nd International Conference RISET-20 on Industry 4.0 Generation on 18th and 19th September, 2020.
Industry 4.0 Generation stands for the 4th industrial revolution which is defined as a new level of organization and control over the entire value chain of the life cycle of products: it is geared towards increasingly individualized customer requirement. Industry 4.0 G is still visionary but a realistic concept which includes Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Industrial Internet, Smart Manufacturing, Block Chain Method, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Intelligent Systems, Autonomous Robots, Data Science and Cloud Based Manufacturing etc.
The conference was inaugurated with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Er Vidhi S Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Trustee, Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions, welcomed the Chief Guest, special guests, dignitaries, researchers and expressed many efforts taken by the college to improve education and conveyed his best wishes for RISET 2020. It was followed by an introductive speech by Prof (Dr) A K Srivastava, Director, YCET who highlighted the details regarding the conference and gave the objectives of organizing this conference on the theme on “Industry 4.0 Generation”. The special guest of honour Prof Al-Dabass, Professor Emeritus, Nottingham Trent University, UK addressed the audience and gave his best wishes. Dr Mesfin Belachew, Senior Advisor, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology addressed the audience and gave his best wishes. The Chief Guest Prof Manoj Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu appreciated the efforts of the college for organizing online 2nd International Conference RISET-20 on Industry 4.0 Generation during Covid-19 pandemic.
