Addressing a press conference, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla Abdul Qayoom said that this is the biggest recovery of this year while dealing with the menace of drug peddling.
In this regard, case FIR no: 160/2020 u/s 8/21-29 NDPS Act stands registered in Police station Baramulla and investigations taken up. A senior police official said that the consistent actions against drug peddlers should reassure the community members that they are making efforts to keep our society free from the scourge of drug menace.
Drug abuse spoils a number of human lives and also destroys the golden periods of life, and the people that are involved in drug peddling could not understand its negative consequences.
