| TMF appeals JMC Mayor to conduct fogging drive in Jammu city | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 18: Expressing his serious concern about reported cases of Dengue in various areas of Jammu city, Team Mask Force (TMF) Chairman Vijay Sharma demanded spray and fogging in the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corporation to prevent spreading of infection due to breeding of mosquitoes of Dengue.
Sharma said that JMC Mayor and DyMayor should have celebrated the 70th birth anniversary of PM Narendra Modi by initiating a drive to spray anti-mosquito chemicals instead of performing other acts of celebration. The rising cases of coronavirus infections in Jammu region would also subside had city areas of JMC taken care of under war footing, he added.
Ravi Tikkoo, President of J&K Sports Speed Ball Association and a member of Mission Mask Force was accompanying Vijay Sharma, who were called on Mayor in this regard.
