POONCH, Apr 25: The Corona curfew imposed in the entire Union Territory of J&K in the wake of a spike in COVID positive cases was enforced in border district Poonch too. According to reports, Additional District Magistrate Poonch, Dr Basharat Hussain Inqlabi under the direction of District Magistrate Poonch, Inderjeet Singh along with the team of administration including Tehsildar Haveli, DySP Headquarters SD Singh and SHO Poonch visited different areas of Poonch and reviewed enforcement of curfew. After complete inspection, Dr Basharat interacting with the media said, “As the COVID-19 pandemic is at its peak and the government in order to break the chain of COVID is taking several steps.” He has appealed to the general public of Poonch not to come out from their houses without any emergency, always use masks, sanitize your hands, make social distancing mandatory to break the chain of this world wide pandemic. He assured that government and administrative officials are always available in the service of the general public. |
