KOTRANKA, June 11: Government Degree College Kotranka organized an online lecture on effective time management under the aegis of Career & Psychological Cell of the college.
The lecture was delivered by Dr Navshad Ahmad Wani, Head PG Department of Psychology, Government Degree College Baramulla, Kashmir.
Initiating the lecture on the topic, Dr Navshad said that it is very important for the students to understand the importance of time and take purposeful decision to balance class, study, work and leisure time. He said that people keep wasting their time in unfruitful things and don’t realize that it is hampering their journey to success and fruitful life. He asked students to identify where they are spending their time and use it constructively. Replying to a question, he said that we should prioritize our daily, weekly, monthly or long term activities, make realistic plan and work on that with positive attitude.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajinder Singh, Principal Govt Degree College Kotranka said that consistency and perseverance leads to success and students should never get disheartened with one failure.
Welcoming the guest, Dr Mohd Mushtaq, convener of the program said that success and failure depends on how we use our time..
Besides faculty members and students of the college, the program was also attended Dr Mansoor Ahmed, Assistant Professor, department of fisheries, SKAUST Srinagar and Prof Shah Lateef, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, GDC Panpore, Kashmir.
Giving his comments, Prof Shah Lateef expressed his happiness for attending such a fruitful program and asked the students to take maximum benefit from such lectures. |
