| Cong holds protest against hike in fuel prices | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
VIJAYPUR, June 11: The Congress Unit of District Samba under the chairmanship of Babal Gupta and Sanjeev Sharma working District President Samba organized a protest rally against the union government for hike in fuel prices. While speaking on the occasion, Sanjeev Sharma and Babal Gupta said that the common man is facing hardships due to the massive hike in prices of essential commodities. They said that the fuel prices have been hiked from Rs 50 to Rs 100, gas cylinder from Rs 400 to 900 and mustard oil from Rs 60 to Rs 200 in the last few years.
Babal Gupta said that the BJP leaders are busy making hollow slogans and are delivering their lengthy speeches but the price hike has broken the back of common man.
He said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi should resign because he has failed to deliver on all fronts.
The protest rally was organized adhering to all the SOPs issued by the administration. Mulkh Raj, Dharam Paul, District President Sewa Dal Raj Kumar, Bias Kumar, Yash Paul and Ajay Kumar also participated in the rally.
