| Deputy Mayor and her team conducts meeting of prominent citizens of different wards | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 11: Keeping in mind the slogan "Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas", Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor JMC along with Mayor JMC Chander Mohan Gupta and former Dy. Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta as the chair and in the presence of chief VIV Parmodh Kapahi, East Distt. President Vinay Gupta, West Distt. President Munish Khajuria, Distt. Sec. Ankush Gupta, Mandal President Ravish Mengi , Mandal President Lucky Puri conducted a meeting of prominent citizens of different wards of JMC. During the meeting, the prominent citizens were asked regarding corona situation in their wards as well as issues they were facing and ideas for making Jammu a smart city. Many new ideas were brought up by the prominent citizens present there which were all noted by the Chair. Also many issues pertaining to development, sanitation facilities and street lights were also brought up which were also noted. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by the Deputy Mayor in which she thanked all the prominent citizens to spare their precious time for this meeting and also to share their ideas for the development of Jammu and welfare of the locals of different wards. She further appealed the general public not to wander out of their houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are on the rise again and only to go out when it's important and while wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
