| Kathua Police recovers around 12 grams of heroin, two women arrested | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Dec 28: Kathua Police under the supervision of SSP Kathua RC Kotwal today recovered around 12 grams of Heroin (Chitta) like narcotics from Chak Drab Khan area of Kathua Police Station. Two women were arrested along with narcotics seized on spot.
A police team led by Inspector O P Chib SHO P/S Kathua during patrolling noticed two suspects roaming near Chak Drab Khan area who were asked to stop for checking. On physical checking of Karamjeet Kour W/o Jatinder Kumar R/o Pandyar Tehsil Deena Nagar District Gurdaspur Punjab A/P Kullian, Kathua containing approx six grams of Chitta narcotics was recovered and on the other hand on physical checking of Neha W/o Lakhwinder Singh R/o Rajpura Tehsil & District Jalandhar A/P Kullian Kathua containing approx six grams chitta like narcotics were recovered. On this a case vide FIR No. 532/2021 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kathua while further investigation is underway. |
