KATHUA, Dec 28: Tightening its noose around Punjab mining mafia at Badiyan Pattan area of Kathua, Kathua Police seized three excavator machines, five dumpers which were allegedly being used in illegal mining in the Ravi river near the gaushala at Badiyan pattan Kathua.
Kathua police led by additional SP Kathua Kr Suresh Chib, DSP headquarters Shammi Kumar SHO Kathua O P Chib carry out raids in the Ravi river near the gaushala at Badiyan Pattan Kathua. Three excavator machines bearing model numbers R215L, SY215C-9LC, SY2150-9LC and five vehicles (dumpers) bearing Registration Numbers viz. PB10-HN2446, PB35Q-1751, PB10HN-2432 respectively along with two dumpers bearing unknown registration number indulged in illegal mining which were being used for illegal transportation of construction material. Residents from different wards of Kathua and locals from adjoining areas of Ravi have hailed the timely action of Kathua police. |
