ADGP Armed conducts darbar of IRP 21 battalion at Pattan | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Dec 28: S J M Gillani, ADGP Armed conducted darbar of IRP-21 battalion at Parihaspora Pattan in Baramulla. The darbar was aimed to take the stock of the functioning and welfare of jawans of the unit. The ADGP appreciated the efforts of officers and jawans of the battalion for performing their assigned duties excellently. The ADGP Armed highlighted various welfare measures initiated by the PHQ/Government for J&K Police which include enhancement of retirement gift etc to police personnel, introduction of gift to SPOs on attaining the age of superannuation, enhancement of risk allowance of police personnel performing sensitive duties etc. The ADGP advised the supervisory officers at all levels to patiently listen to the grievances of the subordinates whosoever approaches them for redressal of their grievances and take appropriate action on their grievances on priority. He advised them to work with dedication and sincerity and always come up to the expectations of the people whom they serve in any manner. The ADGP asked the Commandants and Company Commanders to pay special emphasis on the physical and mental health of the jawans saying that they should be provided hygienic food and follow the COVID appropriate behaviour by all means. He advised the jawans to take care of their physical and mental health by doing Yoga, exercise in routine. |
