| Regional Research Laboratory road in shambles | | |

Jammu, Jan 27: The road stretch from Bakshi Nagar pully to Regional Research Laboratory (RRL) is in shambles but concerned authorities seems to be in no mood to repair the road leading to one of the prestigious establishments of the Jammu . The said road stretch is in dilapidated condition for the last quite some time as the drainage system is totally failed while at several spots the macadamized portions have been washed away.It is worth to mention here that this road has been repaired a number of times earlier too but as soon as its work is completed it gets again damaged even if it rains slightly.God knows better what kind of materials the contractors were using while constructing this road.Anyhow no one is going to take its the responsibility. The commuters alleged that this road should have been in a good shape atleast,because it is vital link and there are many prestigious establishments in its vicinity which are connected with this very road including the RRL. The concerned authorities should take notice of dilapidated condition of this road and macadamize it by using quality material to make it fair for all weather without any delay. |
