JAMMU, Jan 27: The Anganwadi workers discharging their duties across the length and breadth of the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir have expressed displeasure and disappointment that the LG administration is not aware to the problems being faced by them on regular basis. The Anganwadi workers said that they are putting in their best efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, but still then the people at helm are not solving their genuine problems. They said that despite raising their demands on multiple occasions the people at helm have not heeded to their request.
The Anganwadi workers said that they are called for extra duties every now and then adding that since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic they are discharging COVID duties. They said that they are under tremendous stress that their kids and other family members may get infected since they come in touch with affected people.
