earLY tIMES rEPORT

Akhnoor, Jan 27: Villagers of Sanori village, falling under panchayat Ghar Ward No 2 of Chowki Choura here are up in the arms against district administration for their pathetic approach as they have been without road connectivity for decades together.
The villagers while talking to Early Times said that for the last sevral years we have been without road connectivity only for being in remote area.We have been bringing our issues before the concerned authorities time and time again even then we failed to get sanctioned a road which could connect our village with other roads of the town, they added.
They said, we have no motorable road connectivity to our village and in the times of exigency we put a patient in serious condition on a cot and carry it on our shoulders even in the case of pregnant woman to reach the hospital for treatment.
The villagers have been suffering on account of macadamized road connectivity to their village and urge the district as well as UT government to do their needful at the earliest.
