Rishikesh, Jan 27: THDC India Limited celebrated 73 rd Republic Day. R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director unfurled the national flag and took the ceremonial salute at Corporate Office, Rishikesh.
Thereafter, Vishnoi addressed the gathering and emphasized that THDC is working hard to successfully meet the nation’s demanding power requirement. Vishnoi also motivated the employees to further work hard to achieve new milestones for the corporation.
On this occasion J. Behera, Director (Finance) was present. The live telecast of the program was done on all the project and unit offices. P. K. Aggarwal, ED (Technical), L. P. Joshi CGM (EM-Design), Veer Singh, GM (HR) and other officials were also present during the program. Today, THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1587 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam & HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW) in Uttarakhand, Wind Power Projects of 50MW at Patan & 63MW at Dwarka in Gujarat, 24MW Dhukwan Small Hydro Project, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh and 50 MW Solar Power Project at Kasaragod, Kerala to its credit. |
