Jammu, Jan 31: The Circular Road in Jammu city being in shambles has outraged the people.
Locals said, “This is an important road in Jammu city but has been abandoned by the helmsmen. In the recent past it has caved in twice but no one is paying any attention towards it.”
They said, “We have approached the corporator of our area on many occasions but he has just ignored our pleas. If one wants to go to Udhampur he can cover the distance in one hour but if someone wants to travel from Circular Road to the DC office it takes two hours,” they said.
“People who are sitting in big offices should come out and travel through this road. They will realize what a common man faces. Is this the Smart City they are talking about,” the residents said
The Circular Road is used by the people who don’t want to travel through the city. “This road has been in a dilapidated condition for many days but no one seems bothered to repair it. Two wheeler riders keep on falling on this road. It needs to repaired at the earliest,” they said. |
