| YAS distributes ration amongst needy | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 4: Youth At Service (YAS), a Jammu based NGO took the initiative of distributing ration to the needy here today at Canal Road, Talab Tillo.
Youth at Service is a young organisation run by ‘the youth’ which aims to work for the welfare of the society.
It’s a group of teenagers working upon the basic idea of serving the ones in need who believe in creating community free from social injustices and dream for a better future for all.
With alike minds and their goal in front of them, Sumedha Manhas, a class 10 student, the founder of this organisation along with three other volunteers contributed masks, sanitisers along with everyday necessary utility ration items to the ones in dire need during these covid times. Youth
At Service aims to contribute to the society through spreading awareness amongst the people, fundraising and taking up various initiatives and encouraging volunteers throughout the country to join hands .
In the ethos of giving back to the world, Youth At Service wishes to use their privilege and power of being the ‘next generation’ to help and create the future we aspire to see. |
