2/4/2022 11:36:34 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 4: After assessing the situation Rajasthan Government has revised the COVID-19 guidelines, it has lifted the night curfew and has reopened the religious places.
A businessman while talking to Early Times said, “Despite Covid cases being on decline in Jammu and Kashmir the government in the Union Territory has been imposing weekend lockdown and night curfew continues to remain in place.”
He said, “The third wave of Covid has not been that severe. The Omicron variant has been mild and the countries across the world have eased the restrictions but the J&K Government is imposing the guidelines that were issued in the first and second wave of the pandemic.”
It’s in place to mention here that last week staffers of restaurants and hotels in Jammu had addressed a news conference. They had stated that many of them have lost their jobs and many are at the verge of losing their livelihood as the weekend lockdown and night curfew have led to “zero business.”
An observer said that the J&K Government should take a cue from Rajasthan and Delhi governments and allow life to return to normal as the people are facing hardships and are finding it hard to make their ends meet.
