Kanehri village sans road connectivity

JAMMU, Feb 4: Villagers of Kanehri under panchayat Kanehri in block Chouki Choura tehsil Akhnoor are up in arms against the district administration for their pathetic approach towards the plight they have been not fulfilling since a long to macadamize the roads that were leading to the area.
Some senior villagers while talking to Early Times alleged that they have been making repeated pleas at the block as well as tehsil level to the authorities to construct the roads of the village which are in bad shape since long but nothing has been done in this regard so far,they added.
The roads which have turned into ditches and trenches were never macadamized and the commuters face awkward position while going through these roads.If unfortunately it rains even slightly these roads change into pools and makes it difficult for any kind of vehicular movement,they informed.
Otherwise too,the villagers have to go through a tough experiences in case of any medical emergency in the area.
The villagers have urged the concerned authorities to construct the roads to the said village at an earliest.
