JK reports 1429 new positive cases, 415109 recovered, 2,06,82,329 Covid doses administered so far

SRINAGAR,Feb 4: The Government today informed that 1429 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 607 from Jammu division and 822 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 443891.Also, 03 Covid deaths have been reported; 01 from Jammu Division and 02 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 4057 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 1437 from Jammu Division and2620 from Kashmir Division.
The Bulletin also informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 48961doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,06,82,329.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 443891 positive cases, 24080are Active Positive (6851in Jammu Division and 17229in Kashmir Division), 415109 have recovered and 4702 have died; 2300 in Jammu division and 2402in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 21713815 test results available, 443891 samples have tested positive and 21269924 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 73,920 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5842227 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29521 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 24080 in isolation and 430766 in home surveillance. Besides, 5353158 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported today, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 266 cases, Baramulla reported 108 cases, Budgam reported 86 cases, Pulwama reported 34 cases, Kupwara reported 55 cases, Anantnag reported 64 cases, Bandipora reported 47 cases, Ganderbal reported 45 cases, Kulgam reported 96 cases while as Shopian reported 21 fresh cases for today.
Similarly, Jammu reported 228 cases, Reasi reported 23 cases, Udhampur reported 53 cases, Rajouri reported 12 cases, Doda reported 135 cases, Kathua reported 60 cases, Samba reported 04 cases, Poonch reported 19 cases, Kishtwar reported 47cases while as Ramban reported 26 fresh cases for today.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 416(8.25%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24x7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
