Police arrest six persons in overcharging, theft case in mining

REASI, Feb 4: Reasi police lodged six FIR's & arrested six offenders including an allottee of mine of minor minerals(sand) block for cheating of hard earned money of the people for sand and seized one JCB involved in theft of minor minerals.
On getting complaints of overcharging, Reasi Police registered Six cases of cheating & overcharging. Case FIR no 05, 07 and 10/ 2022 U/S 420 stand registered in Police Station Reasi for overcharging from the innocent customers. Whereas case FIR no 06 and 17 stands registered at Police Station Arnas. Case FIR no 05/2022 stands registered at Police Station Reasi on written complaint from customer & accused Neeraj S/O Surinder Singh R/O Holipur Agra A/P Salal Kotli Himna arrested for cheating and overcharging while providing sand to the complainant from mining block at Hemna. Bhram Kumar S/O Paras Ram R/O Bhaga, manager of Shrine Stone Crusher booked and arrested in case FIR 07/2022 for cheating and overcharging from Vijay Kumar of Reasi when he went to Crusher for buying crushed bajri.
On getting complaint of cheating and overcharging from another customer of Kanthan case FIR no 06/2022 stands registered at Police Station Arnas against Crusher at Anas Nalla and accused Bansi Lal S/O Sher Singh R/O Surundi Arnas arrested in the case. Case FIR 10/2022 stands registered against block number 34 for cheating and overcharging from innocent customers while providing minor minerals. Another innocent customer lodged a complaint at Police Station Arnas for being cheated at mining Block Chinka. In this regard FIR no 17/2022 Stands registered at Police Station Arnas and accused Ashwani Kumar S/O Suraj Ram R/O Kanthan arrested in the case, currency notes also seized as evidence in the case. The allotee of the block namely Vikesh Kumar S/O Agya Pal R/O Arnas also arrested in the case.
In another incident of illegal mining at Anji Khad Reasi, case FIR no 26/2022 stands registered at Police Reasi and investigations initiated. During course of investigations one JCB Machine is also seized in the case & owner namely Ashok Kumar S/O Shri Chand R/O Sukhetar at present Sulla Reasi arrested.
