Jammu, Feb 23: Mini Switzerland in Pahlagam has no facilities for tourists. In addition to it the pony wallas put the lives of tourists at stake by sending only one caretaker with two horses.
According to the tourists Pahalgam is full slopes and the horse riding is thrilling but if any mishap occurs there are no facilities for the tourists. “Besides there being no health facilities, there is no security for the tourists as the pony wallas are not accountable to anyone. Most of the people who go horse riding are not professional riders and are vulnerable to risk,” said a tourist. “Pahalgam is a famous health resort but the facilities at such a famous place are not upto the mark. There needs to be a check on pony wallas and health facilities should be put in place,” the tourist added. He said, “We were shocked to see that pony wallas after getting a customer dictate their own terms and no one among the officials is there to keep them under check.” |
