| Devotees demand establishment of washroom at Mamal temple | | |  Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Feb 24: Devotees visiting the Mamal temple here have urged the authorities to put in place better facilities so that more and more people visit the temple and pay obeisance.
Sharing their views a group of devotees said that the absence of a washroom at the temple creates problems for them and there is a dire need for the same to be put in place.
They said the female devotees face more problems due to the absence of washrooms adding that same leads to embarrassment.
“People from across the country visit this temple and pay obeisance. The temple is located at a scenic place and the facilities need to be upgraded. Since there is no washroom at the temple the devotees more the female devotees face numerous problems and the same needs to be looked into,” said the devotees.
The devotees said that the administration should upgrade the other facilities so that it comes up on the religious tourism map of Jammu & Kashmir.
They said the people at helm seem to have forgotten about the importance of Mamal temple adding that its importance needs to be restored. |
