Jammu, Feb 24: Senior leader of Apni Party, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Thursday said that mis-governance led to a youth in Ganderbal making a self immolation attempt.
Talking to Early Times, Mir said, “The Governor rule is no alternative to democracy. Even if the Governor makes multiple attempts to give good governance, he won’t succeed. It’s impossible for him to give good governance.”
Referring to recent self immolation bid made by a youth against demolition drive in Ganderbal district, Mir said, ‘Encroachment drives, demolition drives these are very plausible slogans. But these drives have created > ‘No action taken against big officers, small time officials suspended’

“When any illegal construction comes up the officials just sleep at that time or they remain silent deliberately due to any reason. Demolitions are usually carried out years after the building or structure comes up.” |
