| Influential teacher continuously attached at CEO Udhampur office | | Violation of Govt order on detachment of teachers | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 24: In sheer violation of government’s order on detachment of teachers, an influential general line teacher has allegedly been going attached with the office of the Chief Education Officer Udhampur on one position or another.
Sources in the department told Early Times that the alleged teacher was appointed in 2009 in Primary School and after his stay he was transferred to Higher Secondary School Jaganoo but he managed to get himself attached with the office of Chief Education Officer Udhampur on one pretext or another for many years.
He remained attached in CEO office either as Cultural Cell Incharge or Media Cell Incharge and presently he has been working as District Resource Group (DRG) and official spokesman in CEO Office Udhampur. He is also running a so-called Forum and presently influencing many teachers for getting them transferred suitably in Annual Transfer Drive. He has made his influence in the CEO office and has become the official spokesman of CEO Udhampur. Though he is highly qualified and supposed to teach high classes, his teaching experience is not benefitting the students due to his continuous attachments.
Though Commissioner Secretary Education has ordered detachment of teachers/masters from other departments including those attached for COVID duties, but there are no such restrictions/orders for those attached in the various offices of school education department and such influential teachers/masters are enjoying non teaching assignments without any fear and use their influence to harass the teachers. |
