Doda student trapped in Ukraine

Jammu Mar 1: The family members of MBBS student belonging to district Doda who was studying in Ukraine and identified as Manik Katoch of Bhalla Bhaderwah are still urging the government to bring him and other people trapped in the conflict hit country back to home.
As per the details available with Early Times, the family is very nervous and has appealed to the Government of India to bring back all the children from there as soon as possible.

“Indian students pursuing MBBS in Ukraine are still stuck there including the one who belonging to district Doda of Jammu and Kashmir, who is still trapped there-we are very nervous”, says Surender Katoch father of Manik Katoch added that his child is at the same place since last 1 week and is stuck there along with 40/50 other Indian further added that today about 40 to 50 children are coming towards the Hungry border from where they will be brought to India.
Surinder Katoch has appealed to the Government of India, that all the children who are trapped there— they should be bring back as soon as possible without any further delay.
“In this situation, people are standing with them and people have appealed to end this war through dialogue as soon as possible because this war can cause damage all over the world” said the locals
In order to put in place a mechanism for effective coordination and communication with the persons/ students residing/ studing in Ukraine belongs to district Doda and Kishtwar. A control room / help line has been setup in Deputy Commissioner office Doda and Kishtwar. As per the two different orders, Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti ADC Doda shall be the nodal officer in matters pertaining to persons/ students in Ukraine for Doda District while ACR Kishtwar Akther Qazi will be a nodal officer for Kishtwar District for coordinating with the families of the students if any trapped in Ukraine.
