Jammu, Apr 19: Amidst the sweltering heat, Jammu Power Development Corporation Limited (JPDCL) is resorting to unscheduled power cuts in Jammu region. According to the sources JPDCL is facing a shortage of 200 Megawatts and to overcome it the corporation is restoring to unscheduled power cuts. Meanwhile, Chief Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL Jammu on Tuesday informed that the power supply to Akhnoor Town, Sohal, Ambaran, Thathi, Garkhal and adjoining areas shall remain affected on April 20 from 9 am to 2 pm. Similarly, the power supply to Pounichak, Bhori, Udheywala, Gho Manhasan, Gajansoo, Marh, Chatha, Satwari, Canal, Talab Tillo, Company Bagh, Bhagwati Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Canal Road, Krishna Nagar and adjoining areas shall remain affected on April 20 from 9 am to 10 am. Likewise, the power supply to Khour, Pahriwala, Jogwan, Bhalwal and adjoining areas shall remain affected on April 20 from 8 am to 3 pm. Similarly, the power supply to Bishnah, Seora, Sarore, Biaspur, Kotli, Kalyana Sai and adjoining areas shall remain affected on April 20 from 9 am to 3 pm. Likewise, the power supply to Sunderpur, Satraiyan, Chakroi and adjoining areas shall remain affected on April 20 from 10 am to 3 pm. |
