Women Cricketers smell a rat in selection of players by JKCA

Avinash Azad Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 26: The women cricketers from the Union Territory of J&K smell a rat in the selection/ trail for the selection of J&K Under-23 Women Cricket team, recently conducted by Jammu Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA). Annoyed over alleged dubious trial/selection process, the candidates participated here at Jammu, from various part of the Union Territory of J&K including Kashmir claimed the trail was an eye wash and the selectors conducted the trail half-heartedly. “It seems that the JKCA conducted the exercise just to fulfil paper works. During the 10 days long trail, the candidates kept asking the selectors for their trail, but the selectors didn’t take their request seriously”, told insiders, adding that the scheduled 10 days trail was also reduced to six days only.
