Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 12: Aspirants who had appeared in Kashmir Administrative Service exams in the year 2016 cry foul over the alleged management ruling the roost in the Public Service Commission them, asking the authorities to launch an official probe into the alleged prejudiced practices. Scores of KAS aspirants told Early Times that the government in the past tried to safeguard those who were involved in jeopardising the careers of hundreds of KAS aspirants who appeared in the most sought-after exams of the erstwhile state in the year 2016. As per the reports, Public Service Commission advertised 277 posts for KAS 2016 under the Mehbooba led government in June 2016. The preliminary exam was held in March 2017. However, right from the day prelims results were made public by the PSC, the exam process remained laden with irregularities at each stage. Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 12: After lapse of over four years since the announcement of financial aid under Prime Minister Rehabilitation Package for Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK) and Chamb refugees, over 20 percent of the families have still not got the financial aid. Moreover despite announcement by Union government to include 5,300 left out families in the rehabilitation package, technically they are not included due to fact that most of the families had not resettled in Jammu and Kashmir. Early Times Report Srinagar, Feb 12: The MLA Hostel in Srinagar that was converted into a Sub Jail to detain over two dozen politicians, who were arrested in the wake of abrogation of the special status, is set to be free from detainees soon. Sources said whereas most of the detainees are likely to be released in the coming days, those of the detained, who have been recently booked under the Public Safety Act or are feared to be booked, could be shifted elsewhere. Agencies New Delhi, Feb 12: More than 30 Union ministers, who visited Jammu and Kashmir last month, have submitted their feedback to the Prime Minister''s Office (PMO) on the implementation of various development schemes there, officials said on Wednesday. As many as 37 central ministers visited Jammu and Kashmir to assess the ground situation and interact with people on various development schemes. Agencies New Delhi, Feb 12: Unlike last year, there will be no upper-age relaxation for applicants taking the civil services examination 2020 who are domicile of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir between 1980 and 1989, according to a notification issued on Wednesday.
