Early Times Report Jammu, June 14: Within minutes after neutralizing two terrorists including one Pakistani, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar tweeted that eliminated terrorists were deputed by Pakistan-based handlers to attack Amarnath Yatra. Abdullah Goujri and Adil Hussain Mir were the two terrorists who were eliminated by security forces on late Monday evening. They were part of the squad which has assigned the task to attack Amarnath Yatra. During the last two years, the Amarnath Yatra was suspended due to a pandemic. Early Times Report Srinagar, June 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday said the three militants of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), including the two killed overnight encounter here, were ordered by their Pakistan-based handlers to target the upcoming Amarnath Yatra. The 43-day Amarnath Yatra will commence on June 30. Police said a Pakistani and a local militant of LeT, Adil Hussain Mir of Pahalgam in Anantnag, were killed in an intelligence-based operation in Bemina area of Srinagar on Monday night. Early Times Report Srinagar, June 14: Over a month after the killing of Rahul Bhat, Kashmiri Pandit employees recruited under the Prime Minister's employment package have not resumed their duties in Kashmir. Rahul Bhat was shot dead at his office in Budgam on May 12. Bhat lived in a secure accommodation for Pandit employees. Early Times Report JAMMU, June 14: Anti Corruption Court, Srinagar has convicted Mohammad Amin Baba, then PA to Chief Engineer Irrigation and Flood Control, Kashmir in trap case and two year imprisonment awarded in trap case. Special Judge Anti Corruption Srinagar convicted Baba in case FIR 02/2005 of P/S VOK (now ACB). The accused was sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for the period of two years under Section 5 (2) PC Act and one year simple imprisonment under section 161 RPC. Agencies New Delhi, June 14: India unveiled a new scheme called "Agnipath" on Tuesday for the recruitment of soldiers in the Army, the Navy and the Air Force, largely on a short-term contractual basis, with an aim to cut the ballooning salary and pensions bill.
