Early Times Report Jammu, July 8: The state run Information department during the past three years of PDP-BJP rule turned into an alleged "hub of corruption," sources told Early Times. They said that people heading the department used the distribution of the government advertisements as a tool to control the local media. "The innovative ideas floated by the department to streamline the distribution of the government advertisements proved nothing more than a damp squib," sources added. They said that in order to hide their "misdeeds" officials came up with the idea of new advertisement policy.
