Higher Secondary School at Wathoora was been established more than 25 years back but from the last many months there is no lecturer for Mathematics and Physics available in the school , Commerce steam is not available and computer lab which was established more than 4 years back is useless for the students as there is no computer instructor available" said Dr Raja Muzaffar. " The students have been demanding justice for the last many months but it seems that nobody is ready to listen to them , we have been forced to knock the doors of SHRC as this is a matter of violation of the basic human rights of the students who mostly belong to poor families of Wathoora and its adjoining areas " Dr Muzaffar added According to locals there is no commerce stream available at Higher Secondary school Wathoora and the students who intend to opt for commerce subjects are forced to take Arts or Science subjects. Some students get admissions for studying commerce subjects in Srinagar which is not affordable for their parents. |
