JAMMU, June 15: National Conference Provincial President for Jammu Devender Rana took a break from active politics to learn some lessons of Rajneeti at Nagrota. He witnessed the final of Kesri Dangal Panjgrian and also gave away the prizes.
Playing a typical politician he called for `equitable promotion of rural sports. But what matters is the `take home message'. In a dangal, you `trample' the opponent and that is exactly what a politician does most of the times.
Rana was trampled by no strangers during the just concluded parliamentary elections. Rana will have to face the same persons during the assembly elections. And with Dr Farooq and Omar too naïve to play Krishna, who will `encourage' Rana to face `his very own' in the `Kurekshetra' of the state in October-November. Unfortunately for Rana, the elections no longer remain a game like dangal in Jammu Kashmir. However, the playground teaches discipline, said Napoleon.
