AIBCU appeals Health Minister to provide adequate facilities to flood victims at GMCH | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 13: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has appealed health minister to provide adequate facilities to flood victims, visiting Government Medical College and Hospital. According to press release, AIBCU members took stock of the situation in which flood hit victims with serious injuries, fractures or bone broken cases or others with some health problems who have been rushed to Jammu Medical College for treatment, "There is a huge rush of such flood hit victims which go out of the Hospital's capacity. Patients are generally referred out of the state for which poor people cannot afford or their examination tests which are costly and cannot be afforded at this stage", they said. They further said that keeping in view this grim situation, government must deploy the trained un-employed Doctors on spot on contractual basis for helping the sufferers. Second main point is to give free examination services which include X-rays Ultra sound, CT Scan and other required examination tests. Free Machines must be kept ready for immediate help with free medicines so that they can exist at least and live for their family members. Speakers appealed the Govt. in General and Health Minister in particulars to come into action for immediate relief to show sympathy and at the same time responsibility of their job. Meeting was chaired by its Gen. Secretary Prof. Kali Dass in which other prominents who shared their views were: HmSandokh Chand, Rajinder Singh, Ab. Quadir Dhobi, Ab. Rashid Malik, Raj Kumar, Principal Darshan Kumar, Master SainDass and many others. |
