Worst on the part of administration!

Jammu, Sept 13: Hiding its incompetence, the District Administration Jammu has not endorsed a humane act by the State Gurudwara Prabandhak Board (SGPB) to help the flood victims of the Kashmir valley.
SGPB had come with a proposal of providing ration and other needy stuffs to one lakh flood victims per day provided the land for this humane act be provided by the district administration in Srinagar with the consultation of Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ajit Kumar Sahu but in a sorry state of affairs, the same plan was put into dustbin when Sahu said he was unable to consult the higher ups due to problems in communication.
See the apathetic attitude of the district administration that the Board members discussed with Deputy Commissioner Jammu that the chartered plans, men and machinery and other requisite would be provided by the board members themselves with necessary help from the Shri Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) Amritsar and Delhi Gurudwara Management Committee (DGMC) saying their only requirement is a piece of land for de-boarding the chartered planes and setting up of temporary kitchens to which Deputy Commissioner replied with "no" citing reason that it is not easy for him to seek help and contact people in administration as the communication channels have been badly damaged due to the worst ever flash floods in the history of Jammu and Kashmir which Early Times has verified when DC Jammu was contacted telephonically.
S S Wazir, Chairman State Gurudwara Prabandhak Board, sharing details with Early Times said that when the disaster in Kashmir has been declared as national calamity, why DC Jammu was hindering the relief and rescue operations as number of people all across the country have comes to the rescue of affected people in the valley.
Divisional Commissioner, Shant Manu, when contacted about the episode, simply denied of having any knowledge about the disregard to the humane proposal by Deputy Commissioner Jammu which authenticated the fact that DC Jammu Ajit Kumar Sahu has not discussed the same with higher ups in the administration.
