JAMMU, Sept 13: When the state of Jammu and Kashmir is facing a serious flood conditions, and only chief minister Omar Abdullah is visible on television, the ministers of state after 10 days are seen talking to media persons in Delhi is not less than a joke. What they want to prove now after remaining underground for over a week. These seven ministers had asked central government to declare the floods as national calamity, but either these ministers are ignorant or ill informed as Union home minister Rajnath Singh has already stated that it is a national calamity and it is because of central assistance, there is rescue and relief work going in Kashmir. Talking to Early Times, Shoaib Iqbal, a resident of Jammu said the state govt is already collapsed and after seven days, these ministers are in Delhi for what. These ministers should have stayed back in valley and helped their CM, but on the contrary, these ministers are in Delhi. Central government is already taking care of Jammu and Kashmir and it is because of army and air force, people are having a sigh of relief. Sunita Kumari, who was airlifted to Jammu said that the state administration has collapsed miserably and why these ministers show their faces in Delhi; just to be in media. Union government has already sent Minister in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh and union home secretary Anil Goswami to supervise the rescue and relief operations in state, and visiting of seven ministers to Delhi doesn't make any sense, she added. When Rajnath Singh already said that it is a national calamity, then seven ministers going Delhi and asking central government to declare it as a national calamity doesn't make any sense and that too when prime minister has announced liberal package for Jammu and Kashmir. There is criticism from all over the state on these ministers visit to capital.
