Bovine smuggling bid foiled 9/13/2014 10:19:46 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Sept 13: Police foiled another bid of bovine smuggling and rescued five animals being illegally transported to Punjab while man hunt is on to nab accused who managed to give slip to police team. According to police spokesperson, on specific information, the Police Party of P/S Rajbagh , laid down a naka at Rajbagh and intercepted one truck bearing regd no JK08C-4833 driven by Moaz din of Beri Khad Basohli Kathua on way to Punjab. "However on noticing the naka party driver of the vehicle manage to escape leaving behind the vehicle, police said and added, " during search of abandoned vehicle police recovered five animals loaded under inhumane conditions which were rescued by the police team accordingly.
