BGSBU restores water, power supply | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Sept 13: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) authorities have restored all the essential services affected badly during recent rains including power and electricity. All the employees of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) have donated their one day salary to Chief Minister Relief fund constituted for the flood victims. Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Teachers Association (BUTA) headed by Azaz , Assistant Professor has also donated more than Rs 1lakh for providing medicines and water bottles to the flood victims . "In this hour of natural calamity the university fraternity stood with affected people of the state and not only staff but the students of BGSBU have also collected money for CM Relief Fund from their pocket money" said IA Hamal, Vice Chancellor. Besides this BGSBU has also restored the essential services including drinking water, power etc which were affected by incessant rains. It is pertinent to mention here that hundreds of students of BGSBU belongs to Kashmir Valley and most of them have not been able to connect their family member and are under stress but are busy in their studies. |
