SAMBA, Oct 10: Taking a serious note to linger on the production of challan of Case FIR No 107/2013 u/s 279/338/304-A RPC P/S Samba in the Court of law, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba Anil Magotra KPS, placed SI Sukhdev Singh of Police Station Samba under suspension and attached him with DPL Samba.
According to police spokesperson, "A departmental enquiry has been initiated into the matter against the suspended cop."
Giving details, spokesperson said, "A case was registered in the year 2013 and its investigation was entrusted to the said officer with the direction to dispose off, the same on merits and produce its challan in the Court of law, but said officer even after the completion of its investigation and clear directions from his seniors, lingering on its production of challan in the Court on one pretext or the other. Meanwhile a number of deputations called on the SSP Samba against the said officer demanding action against erring officer. |
