Cong MLA Pawar meets border firing affected people | | | Jammu, Oct 10: Indu Pawar MLA, President Mahila Congress today visited border villages and met with people from worst affected villages including Chilliyari, Sadoh, Mava, Mangu Chak, Paloura and Glad whose life and property has been rendered unsafe by the unprovoked shelling by Pakistan. During her visit in village Chilliyari where two members of a family have lost their lives and four are injured, she expressed her heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family. While interacting with border people she said that Central Govt besides giving befitting reply to Pakistan should also provide relief to the residents of border villages. She however assured to take up matter with state Govt. to provide adequate relief to save them and their animals. She also asked Govt. to allot five marla plot to each border village family in the safe area so that they can keep their children at safe places during such emergencies. Congress leader also urged that suitable arrangement for food and fodder should be made to enable disturbed families to organize themselves and state living normally. During her visit Pawar was accompanied with Suman Choudhary Secretary Mahila Congress, Smt Champa Devi Distt President Samba, Anita Devi Block President Samba, Sureshta Devi Block President Vijaypur, Kanta Devi Block President Purmandal Smt Vimla Devi Block President Gagwal. She also visited villages Kana Chak, Sui, Burj, Patniyal in Marh Block and met the victims of Pakistani shelling and shared the suffering of victims. |
