Girl dies mysteriously at her residence 10/10/2014 11:39:17 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 10: A 20 year-old girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence Mattoo Colony falling under the jurisdiction of Channi Himmat area. The deceased has been identified as Divya Manhas d/o Krishan Manhas of Mattoo Colony. Police sources said that she was found unconscious by her family members who informed the police and acting swiftly police reached the spot and shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu where she was declared as brought dead. Police said that during questioning it came to light that the deceased allegedly returned home after attending a late night party and was in inebriated condition. Police sources said it is also alleged that marks of syringes were also visible on her arms which indicate that she used to inject drugs. After legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
